For an online public case history, start with MiCOURT Case Search and identify the court. For an 8th District Court case file or copy, contact the District Clerk at the Judge Charles A. Pratt Justice Center, 330 Eleanor Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007, 269-384-8171. The District Court's documented public hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; it closes at 3:30 p.m. every third Tuesday for staff training.
9th Circuit Criminal/Trial matters at Pratt use 269-383-8837. Family records route through the 9th Circuit Family Division at the Gull Road Justice Complex, 1536 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49048, 269-385-6000. Civil/Probate and Probate records at that complex use 269-383-8666. The county record-request page links the District copy and transcript forms. Call the division before an in-person Circuit or archived-record visit because its public terminal and hard-copy access may require file retrieval.
